Paula Sánchez Arévalo

I’m a certified Intimacy Coordinator coached by Amanda Blumenthal, founder of Intimacy Professional Association (IPA), and Rebecca Johannsen, associated Intimacy Coordinator. 

Prior to my training as an Intimacy Coordinator, I had 17 years tenure as a professional dancer with the Nederlands Dans Theater, and a 20 years career as a freelance performer working with choreographers like Jiri Kylan, Richard Siegal and Gintersdorfer/Klassen.

I’m also a choreographer and I have worked for television Las de la última fila NETFLIX, Galgos MOVISTAR, film productions Primos ATÍPICA FILMS, and theater La Dama Duende, El Lindo Don Diego and Tom Sawyer MIC Productions.

As a guest teacher I’ve taught in some of the most important dance departments in the USA American Dance Festival, Bennington College,University of South Florida, and University of Philadelphia. In Spain I have taught at the Superior Conservatory of Dance in Madrid and Nacho Duato Academy.

I’m a Certified Mental Health First Aid and have years of experience teaching Gyrotonic, movement, yoga, breathing and mindfulness techniques to support performers in their well being.

In addition to that, I’m a children’s literature author and I have worked with minors on television NETFLIX, and on theater productions 4 patas tiene un cuento y Al caer la luna.
